Vincent Ward's Alien 3

This poster I made is obviously based on "Alien 3". But not just any "Alien 3" but Vincent Ward's version of "Alien 3". "Alien 3" notoriously had a lot of production problems and had many different scripts that got written and considered for it. One of the most famous ones was the script by Vincent Ward and John Fasano in which Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) crash lands on a monastery satellite called Arceon. Inhabited by an order of reclusive monks who reject all modern technology, the big satellite is almost entirely constructed of wood. When yet another alien breaks loose and starts a killing spree, Ripley is deemed by the monks to have brought the devil into their midst. Many story beats and characters of Ward's script actually have been adapted in the final shooting script that ultimately switched the movie's setting to a prison planet instead of a monastery.
