A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Lover

This is a poster based on an unproduced script for "Nightmare on Elm Street 6" that was actually written by Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson around 1990 called "A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Lover". The script focussed on a cop who after rescuing people from a house fire falls into a coma - permanently being trapped in Freddy's nightmare world. Presumably the movie would've further followed his son putting himself into a deep sleep state trying to rescue him. The basis for this poster was a tiny piece of concept art shown in the "Never Sleep Again" documentary. Maybe someday this great premise for a Nightmare movie hopefully gets realized in a sequel 🙏 (or at least the script gets leaked 😅)
