The Bridge

This piece I made over this year's Easter weekend is inspired by an episode of the old cartoon show "Tales from the Cryptkeeper" that I loved to watch when I was a kid. In the tale/episode "The Brothers Gruff" a boy named Eddie crosses a bridge and is then followed home by a troll. After strange things start happening at his home, Eddie's older brother suddenly goes missing having been kidnapped by the troll. It's now up to Eddie to rescue his brother from the troll's hideout under the bridge.
I always thought the premise of the episode had kind of a Stephen King-ish vibe to it and would potentially make for a great movie which is why I had this image of a live-action version in my head for a long time now.
