Return of The Thing

In 2005, Sci Fi Channel was actually planning to produce a miniseries called "Return of the Thing" that was supposed to act as a direct sequel to John Carpenter's "The Thing". While the miniseries sadly never came to be, it would have focussed on the Thing having escaped the Polar desert and infected an airplane passenger causing the plane to crash near a small town in New Mexico. The Thing survived the crash and it doesn't take long till the small nearby town is thrown into chaos. My poster piece shows the Thing escaping the crashed plane while having taken on the form of a rabbit - in reference to the dog in the beginning of the Carpenter movie.
